Our “aha moment” came when we got our first gold and diamond pendant made from an artisan directly. We couldn’t believe how beautiful, flawless and shiny it looked. We later went on a discovery journey that took us to Surat, Mumbai, Khambat (Gujarat), Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kolkata and Chennai. We met the artisans, craftsmen, and gemologists dealing in diamonds and gemstones. After that came learning and research — hundreds of hours in front of YouTube and spent in practical learning at Jewellery factories (SMEs).

Confidence in the ability of the craftsmen of our country, and our own expertise to source the best quality ingredients, we launched My Carat.
